There are people waving and cheering like fans, but who aren’t following Jesus. Fans can make a lot of noise, and disrupt the opposing team’s plays. But Jesus calls us to be in the game.

Fear is a healthy emotion we should have at times, but it doesn’t have to keep us paralyzed. It doesn’t have to keep us from trusting God. While anything else might fail you, God is able to handle it.

As we consider the idea of “spiritual arrhythmia,” we need to remember that the story includes us in a great love story about God. But, just like the Parable of the Lost Son, God is the focus.

We grow and change because of new things that we try, new people, and wnew ideas. All of our experiences change us. So, what are we becoming?

2020 threw all our routines out of whack. That might have thrown people off their spiritual rhythms too. Spiritual arrhythmia is a lot like heart arrhythmia, where your heart isn’t beating in rhythm.
